Day One - Transfer from Quito Airport to Botanical Reserve San Jorge Eco-Lodge

Overnight lodging

Day Two -BOTANICAL RESERVE SAN JORGE - Horseback Riding Eco-Adventure to the high barren plains, with private guide, boxed lunch. Experience a slice of 17th Century life! Ride Mustang Horses with traditional saddles up to Pichincha Mountain. Visit the Andes potato and cattle farms. Great sightseeing!, We will go around a pre-Inca road (1500 BC) and ride up to (4700 ms osl) the cloud forest. San Jorge Eco-Lodge invites its guests to discover this unique part of Ecuadorian life.

Day Three - Visit the famous Otavalo Indian Market. We will have the opportunity to shop for world famous handmade wool and alpaca products. Also, visit the Peguche Waterfalls, San Pablo Lake, Cotacashi (leather village), San Antonio de Ibarra (wood carving village), and Cuicocha (sacred Indian lagoon). We will take a boat trip around an active volcano and then visit the main traditional production centers of woodcarving and leather handcrafts of Ecuador.

Day Four - Choose one of two options:

OPTION #1 - BOTANICAL RESERVE SAN JORGE - Sacred Waterfalls and Medicinal Plant Expedition. We will trek to the highland tropical rain forest, visiting up to 15 sacred waterfalls. Here, we will learn about the medicinal attributes of the native plants, containing up to 250 varieties in the region. At the same time you will take in the fabulous panoramic views of Quito, its valleys and mountains along with views of the volcano peaks of Cayambe, Antizana, Pasochoa, Pululahua, Pichincha and Illalo. We can observe 11 mountains from various points of Botanical Reserve San Jorge. Relax at the Lodge for the remainder of the afternoon and enjoy the swimming pool, sauna, Turkish Bath or Jacuzzi.

OPTION #2 - Nono Tandayapa Route Downhill Trip (45 km - 28 miles) This is a famous Birdwatchers secondary route. While descending from the beautiful virgin cloud forest, visit the Sierra, an enormous canyon, Tandayapa and Pichincha's untouched foothills. This is a fairly easy ride that offers incredible sightseeing from an altitude of 3200mts down to 1500mts. We will witness some amazing vegetation changes as we explore virgin rainforests on this magical tour for riders of any level!

Spend the evening at Botanical Reserve San Jorge. This will be your first contact with an Andes highland Shaman. He will discuss his experiences and secrets from his ancestors, which are traditionally passed down from generation to generation. You will have the opportunity to receive a "Cleansing" by this mystic native man in an Ecuadorian Andes Mountain introduction of Shamanism.

Day Five - Guided City Tour of Old Colonial Quito. Learn about the colonial art in the churches, history, archaeology and folklore in the museums. Your private guide will provide complete information of the baroque colonial art. Tour around the city visiting the most important areas: Plaza de la Independencia, Plaza San Francisco, Plaza Santo Domingo, La Merced, La Compania, and Penecillo.In the afternoon, depart Quito and fly to Lima. Reception in the airport and transfer to your hotel

Early AM transfer to Lima Airport and fly to Cusco .

Cusco: Reception in the airport and transfer to your Hotel. Welcome with the traditional drink "Mate de Coca", especially to be acclimatized to the altitude of the City. Free day for personal activities.

Day Seven - Cusco - City Tour - 4 Ruins

Spend the morning at your leisure. In the afternoon a tour of the city, visiting the most important sites and visiting four of the most important ruins near Cusco: Kenko, old religious center; Tambomachay " Bathrooms of the Inca"; Pucapucarà and Sacsayhuamàn, old fortress of greatness. Return to your Hotel. Dinner Show at a typical restaurant this evening.

14 day Peruvian tour Preu Day Eight - CUSCO - PISAC MARKET -URUBAMBA - OLLANTAYTAMBO.

Full day tour to the Sacred Valley of the Incas along the Urubamba River. Arrive to Pisac, a quiet and famous town known for their market where near indigenous communities come to exchange their products. Buffet lunch is included in Urubamba then we will continue the visit to Ollantaytambo Fortress and the Chincheros market. Return to Cusco later in the afternoon.

14 day Peruvian tour Preu Day Nine - CUSCO-MACHU PICCHU-CUSCO.

AM Transfer to the train station and depart to Machu Picchu for a 3-hour ride through the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Arrive to Machu Picchu and visit the ruins that are full with such mystery as: The Solar Clock, The Temple of the 3 windows and the Circular Turret. Buffet lunch in Aguas calientes town, surrounded by a beautiful and impressive landscape of mountains and forests. In the afternoon return by train to Cusco. Transfer to the Hotel.

Day Eleven - Cusco - Puno via First Class Bus (leaves 8: am, arrives 5 pm). Visit Andahuaylillas Church which is considered the Sistine Chapel of the Americas. Inside, we can find a variety of paintings and murals dating from the XVI th centuries. Raqchi Temple dedicated to Wiracocha, Supreme God of the Inca Empire: The temple is built out of sun dried mud-brick walls and stones. La Raya is the highest pass on the route; this point is the conjunction of the Cordilleras and give origin to the Vilcanota Knot. The landscape is beautiful: snow peaks, herds of alpacas, vicunas, PuKara Archaeological complex formed by a pyramidal structure. Here we can observe the first song of civilized culture in the Peruvian Altiplano.

14 day Peruvian tour Preu Day Twelve - Lake Titicaca - Uros & Taquile Island
Depart by boat and tour the Sacred Lake of Titicaca for the day. Arrive to the floating island of Uros who uses the Totora for the construction of their houses. It is one of the oldest tribes in the Americas that still practice their ancestral customs. We will continue the trip to visit the Tiquile Island where we will be able to appreciate their customs and typical crafts. Lunch is included in the island of Taquile in a typical restaurant. Return to Puno in the afternoon.

Day Thirteen - Puno - Juliaca - Lima
Morning free. In the afternoon transfer to Juliaca airport and in route visit the ruins of Sillustani and appreciate the Chullpas, tombs in cylindrical form of up to 15 meters high utilized for the Indian Aymara to bury their priests. Fly from Juliaca to Lima Airport.
Transfer to hotel.


Day Fourteen - CUSCO - LIMA - CITY TOURS.
The morning free for personal activities, then transfer to the airport and depart for your flight to Lima.

Lima: Reception in the airport and transfer to Lima for a typical Peruvian lunch.

After lunch , take a City Tour visiting the main sites of interest in the colonial area: The San Martin Square, The Cathedral, The Government palace, Walk of Waters, Catacombs of San Francisco, etc., and the residential area: The district of Miraflores, San Isidro, Park of the Love, Circuit of Beaches and the romantic neighborhood of Barranco. Later, transfer to Lima Airport for your international flight home.
