San Jorge Eco-Lodge & Botanical Reserve is an 18th century mountain hacienda, situated on 200 acres of untouched, protected land, preserving the wild & natural habitat of the many endemic plants, animals and over 110 different species of exotic birds, native only to the Andes region. We are the only private reserve near Quito, located only 17 minutes from the airport, yet a world away from the busy metropolis to provide guests with peace and tranquility.

Join us for delicious food, Andes music and ballet, friendly family service, warm and comfortable rooms with central heat, private baths, and lovely gardens. A wonderful natural environment awaits you. We also have outdoor tempered pool, Jacuzzi, Turkish bath, sauna, and game rooms for your entertainment.

NEW ~ San Jorge de Milpe Eco-Lodge is located in Milpe, inside the Subtropical Rainforest. Enjoy spectacular scenery, beautiful trails, running rivers and cascading waterfalls with over 450 species of tropical birds, including a wide array of butterflies and orchids.

San Jorge’s two hotel locations are central to the 4 climate steps of Ecuador; the High Barren Plains, Highland Rainforest, Cloud Forest and Subtropical Rainforest, making it the ideal retreat for nature lovers.
